Chyina Powell is a freelance editor and founder of Powell Editorial. She is also the co-founder and CEO of the 501©3 nonprofit organization The Women of Color Writers’ Circle which offers safe space and community for women of color who write all over the globe regardless of genre.

Chyina Powell is a Christian author and multi-genre and multi-form writer who has won awards for her plays and poetry. When she isn’t writing or helping clients fine tune their own creative works, she can typically be found with a good book and a cup of hot tea (or apple cider when it’s fall). She has been a speaker and presenter for numerous writing conferences as well as a guest on multiple podcasts sharing her knowledge.
